St Patrick's Day Teddy Bear Parade Card

Happy Saturday!!
Yesterday was St. Patrick's Day. It is one of my favorite holidays because growing up I lived in an Irish town which celebrated St Patrick's Day in style.
When I saw the photos of the recent celebration, I was inspired to create this card.

For this card I used:
An A2 size card
The mat for this card is  5 inches by 3.6 inches
The Dark Green strip is embossed with a bubbles CuttleBug folder from Cricut and is cut at 5 inches by 1.5 inches
The Leprechaun Bear is from Teddy Bear Parade 3.4 inches in height
The shamrock border is from Classroom February & March and is cut at 3 inches
The Green Tag is from Formal Occasions and is cut at 3 inches
My sentiment is from CardzTV Stamps Mixed Messages

I love stair step cards. They are some of the most fun cards to make.
So for this card, I made a stair step card. Then I added cute files from

Cricut Design Space. 

The Chocolate bunny for this card is from Create a Critter 2

The eggs (aren't they gorgeous) are from Easter 2010 cartridge
The basket is from Create a Critter 2
The grass is from Ribbons and Rosettes
My sentiment is from CardzTV Stamps Toadally Awesome.

I used the sentiment Hop to it. You could also use Hop, Hop, Hooray!! 
Now I'll admit when you first look at this set you see frogs. But Bunnies hop, too.
My daughter actually handed it to me. I told her I wasn't making a frog card and then it hit me. It's another reminder to look closely at your stamp sets and just because it says one thing - doesn't mean you cannot use it for another.
Think out of the box!!

Blooming Layers Easel Card - My Scrap Chick

Happy Sunday!!
I hope you had a great weekend. I love Sunday because it is a relaxing day and because I love to spend time with my family. Spring is right around the corner so today's card is inspired by that.
My Scrap Chick has some great new easel cards that you definitely want to check out if you have a baby shower, birthday, want to celebrate spring, or just because.

My card today is the Blooming Layers Easel card. This card was very easy to put together. I love how the layers pop up. My sentiment is from CardzTV Stamps Favorite Phrases.

Favorite Phrases is my new go to stamp set. I love how you can use the sentiments on almost every project.
I accented the card with a few small pink flowers and pearls from my stash. It is the perfect addition to this bright and cheery card.

12 Days of Christmas Card #1 - Gingerbread Christmas

I cannot believe that December is already here. Today I had some time to craft which has been really rare lately. But my husband so nicely set  me up a beautiful new crafting space. It's small because our house doesn't have a lot of room but it felt so good to have my machine on a table.
So today's card to start the 12 Days of Christmas is a Gingerbread Christmas card.
This card was inspired by Mary from CardzTV Stamps stamp set Gingerbread Christmas.
I love this adorable set because it has such a wonderful gingerbread man, and several sentiments.

The papers are from my Christmas stash.  I love the holly paper and candy canes. The gingerbread man's buttons and face are embellished with candy buttons. I love how they make this card stand out.
I hope you enjoyed this fun and easy Christmas card!! I can't wait to make many more!!

For my project today I have two projects because my first one got ruined by my four year old daughter. She is such a sweet girl. But if you could see what it's like to craft in my house, you'd laugh. Imagine two little children at my side who are four and two years old. They want to "help" mommy. 

Usually, this works out but today Felicity added pink to my turkey sentiment. So I had to quickly redo it. 

 My first project is a simple 4x4 card and uses my Cricut Explore Air 2

The turkey is cut at 2 inches and is from Create a Critter

The scallop is from Elegant Edges and is cut at 2.5 inches

My sentiment is from CardzTV Stamps "Count Your Blessings" Stamp Set

I'm sending these out for the #scatterkindness challenge. I hope they will be an encouragement to my friends and family. 
My second project is a cute gift card or candy holder from SVG Cutting Files. This turkey caught my eye in their recent blog hop and I just had to buy it. 
I embellished it with sequins that I purchased from Julie @ ReadySetStamp
 My sentiment is from one of my favorite sets of Mary's CardzTV Stamps "Going in Circles"

CardzTV Anything Goes Challenge #3

Hi everyone,
It is Friday and time for another challenge from CardzTV Stamps!! I am on the Anything Goes team this term which is so much fun. What this means is you can make a project and Anything Goes. Just post it on Mary's blog linky and share it with us so we can comment and see your wonderful work.

Now onto my project!! I love fall. It is my favorite time of year!! I love to watch the leaves change. I haven't gotten to see them change in a long time. So my card today is inspired by the leaves and fall. I recently took a trip with part of my family to the Rocky Mountains. If you ever get to do this, definitely go because it is breathtaking!!

My card is from a beautiful Lori Whitlock File and it's the Lori Whitlock Pop up Mason Jar box card.
I added my own touches to it including the leaf and the scarecrow.

My sentiment which reads Happy Harvest is from CardzTV Stamps Thankful For You stamp set.
The paper is from Hobby Lobby (aren't those pumpkins cute?)

CardzTV Card Challenge #1 - Create a Valentines Card

Happy Friday!! I'm so glad that you stopped by today as it's time for another Card Challenge at CardzTV Stamps!! You are going to love this challenge as it is all about Valentines Day!!

Valentines Day is Feb 14th and we have less than a month to get those cards ready for parties at school, friends, and family. So to jump start us, Mary has challenge us to make a card for Valentines day. 

To make this card I use my Cricut Explore Air:

My Lion which is so cute is from Miss Kate's Cuttables. I picked it because growing up I had won a stuffed animal at the local country fair like this one. When I saw the lion in Miss Kate's Cuttables store, I knew I had to make a card with it.
Next, the shape in red print and blue is from Tablescapes Spring & Summer #M2EC23 Cut in 2 sizes one at 3.92 by 3.41 and one at 4.24 by 3.69

My Sentiment is from CardzTV Stamps  Love Ya Stamp Set

I used the Love Ya Sentiment on the front of my card and the inside reads. Sending you hugs & Kisses and Happy Valentine wishes!!

Happy Birthday

I don't know about you all but after Christmas, I realized that I need to make some birthday cards for friends and family. January is a busy birthday month for us. First up is my birthday and then after that is my daughter, Carleigh.
She loves all things cake so I made this fun cake card for her.
The papers I used are from my Secret Santa gift from Mary at CardzTV Stamps. I am on her design team and each year we do a secret Santa swap. It's so much fun as everyone on the team is super creative and thoughtful. Thank you so much Mary. I love my secret Santa and I can't wait to play with my goodies more.

I used My Cricut Explore Air to make this card. 

I also used a Standard A2 size card out of Kraft Cardstock.

The Cake is from Cricut Design Space 

I cut a rectangle at 2.03 inches x 3.23 inches

then a rectangle again in Pink patterned paper at 3.09x1.91 inches.

Next I cut a circle at 2.86 x2.86 

Next I did a print and cut of a cute cake added perfect pearls to accent it and added it to the card. 

Finally I stamped my sentiment from CardzTV Stamps "This n' That" Stamp set. It reads Hope your day tickles you pink!

CardzTV Stamps Design Team Challenge #4 - Halloween

Hi everyone and welcome back for another fun CardzTV Stamps Design Team Challenge.
This week Mary has challenged us to make a card for Halloween. This was a lot of fun to put together as the possibilities are endless. I don't like to go too spooky so I chose more of a fun style card.

For my card I used my Cricut Explore Air:
I used Creepy Critters Cartridge cut for an A2 Size card. I took away the Boo and Ghost from the card to make it my own.
The Dracula Bird is from 3 Birds on Parade cartridge.
My sentiment is from CardzTV Stamps Trick or Treat Stamp Set.

Hello my Crafting Friends!!
Fall started this week!! It is one of my favorite seasons as I love the crisp autumn air, falling leaves, and pumpkin spice lattes. I also love hot apple cider, sipping hot cocoa by the fire, and enjoying cooler temperatures.
Sadly where I live, I don't get the seasons as much. Instead I love to watch the photos friends post on Facebook of the changing colors.

For this challenge, Mary challenged us to make a card with Fall Icons - these can be leaves, acorns, scarecrow, corn, etc. 

So for my card I created a Fall Tree Card. 

I loved it so much I made 2. 

To make this card:

A2 Size Card - 

Fall Tree - 3.53 inches

Green Polka Dot paper - 2.96 width x 3.78 height

Black - 4 inches height

Autumn Tree- Create a Critter 2 - 3.53 height

Well I tried a wine card and it just did not work. So I decided to make an ice cream card. 

For this card I used Nifty Fifties Cricut Cartridge and CardzTV Stamps Sugar Rush

CardzTV Design Team Challenge #2 - Using Hearts

Hi everyone and welcome back for another fun CardzTV Stamps Design Team Challenge. Valentines day is right around the corner so this week, Mary has challenged us to make a card using hearts. Heart cards are so much fun and you can use all sorts of papers, etc.
For my creation, I used a The Lori Whitlock Center step scalloped card. I also used the Fox from Designs on Cloud 9.
I also used a ticket file - you can find many in the Silhouette store and cut it twice once at regular size and once at a little smaller and stamped My Love with CardzTV Stamps Hugs & Kisses stamp set. It gives it a bit of a vintage look.

Next I cut two red hearts and then smaller hearts from paper from My Mind's Eye.

CardzTV Stamps Picture This Card

HI everyone!
It's been a while since I used my CardzTV Stamps but when I got Mary's latest set in the mail...I knew I had to make a card with it.
For this card I used CardzTV Stamps Picture This.
I stamped it in various shades of Stampin Up Ink.
For this card I used:
Gumball Green
Bermuda Bay
Primrose Petals
Summer Starfruit
A fun tip is that when you do this kind of a design be sure to chose a few colors. This helps keep the card simple and your design will stand out more. I also chose to accent the Summer Starfruit with the Yellow Chervon background paper and the Gumball green with Old Olive Cardstock. (I ran out of Gumball green)

I love how it turned out and can't wait to make more!! Check out this new stamp set today. You will definitely use it often with all the cute sentiments and fun pictures.

The tag is from the same set and is cut at 2 inches wide x 1.1 in height
It is stamped in Tim Holtz Walnut Stain ink
I used an enamel dot for the cherry on top of the cupcake. 

The Second is for a friend and is a Thank you Card 

I used the same file for this card but just added a Chevron embossing folder for the cupcake edge and colored it with Gelatos. I also added Pink Recollection flowers and some doodling.

My project today is a Elegant Easel Card from My Scrap Chick
You can find the file here. I used the scallop Easel Card. It is such a wonderful file and you get five easel cards in this set. The larger white scallop is embossed with the Cuttlebug flowers embossing folder.  Next, I added some fun washi tape at the request of my daughter Carleigh.
