Paper Play Sketch Snowman Card

Hi everyone!!
I decided to take part in the Paper Play Sketch card challenge. I don't usually do sketch cards but I started a while back and really love making them. The layers just flow together and the possibilities are endless.
My card today is a A2 size card. I designed it in Cricut Design Space.
Here is the sketch

The base of the card is cut at 8.5 x 5.5 in Cricut Design Space

The mat is cut at 4 x 5.27 inches

My banner is from Close to my Heart Art Philosophy and the Simple Stories paper pack from my Secret Sister. I love the papers in this pack

It is cut at 1.63 x 4.87

The black square is cut at 2.93 by 2.93 

The gray polka dot square is cut at 2.74 by 2.77

The circle is cut at 2.66 by 2.66 

The snowman is from CardzTV Stamps Snow Buddies Pre-Colored Cardstock Die cuts ( I love these and you will, too) 

The sentiment is from CardzTV Stamps "Just Chillin'" stamp set

12 Days of Christmas Card Day 2 - Penguin Just Chillin

Hi everyone,
Christmas is right around the corner. I heard on television yesterday someone said that it seems to come faster and faster each year. I definitely agree. Today's card is a cute Penguin Christmas card. I have a number of friends who love penguins. Let's face it they are adorable and super cute.
So for them, I decided to make this adorable Penguin card.

To make this A2 size Card I used my Cricut Explore Air 2. To make this card I used Christmas paper from my stash. I love how the colors go together. I used the Penguin from Create a Critter 2. I was drawn to his adorable hat and scarf. Then I used CardzTV Stamps Just Chillin' stamp set.

CardzTV Anything Goes Challenge #6 Reindeer Christmas

Hi everyone!! Welcome back for another CardzTV Designer Challenge. This week my design team sisters have created some wonderful projects for you to be inspired by. Head over to CardzTV and check them out. You won't be disappointed.
My project this week is a Reindeer Christmas card. This card was inspired by Sketch 10 from Mary's Sketch Card series.

The reindeer on this card is from Create a Critter 2 This is such a cute reindeer and so easy to cut.
My sentiment on the outside of the card is from CardzTV Stamps Very Merry Stamp set

The inside of the card is simple but gives the card a finished look. I cut a piece of paper from the front at 2 inches by 5 1/2 inches.
My sentiment is from CardzTV Stamps Naughty or Nice this includes the snowflakes and Merry Christmas

Salt and Pepper Cricut Card -Crazy Cute Cards

Good afternoon, 

Cricut recently released the new cartridge Crazy Cute Cards. This cartridge is full of adorable images and cute cards that are easy to make. The images include an adorable soda cup, a standup beach chair, brave little toaster, and crayon box just to name a few. When I saw the cartridge, I knew that I had to make the cute toaster. 

For my second card, I decided to make the salt and pepper shakers. For this card the layers were a bit trickier but still only took about thirty minutes to assemble. I accented it with a cute gel pen (Thanks Mary) and sentiment from CardzTV Stamps Simply Said.

CardzTV Card Challenge #5 - Make a card with Butterflies, Birds, or Bees

Welcome back for another Friday CardzTV Card Designer's Challenge!! This week Mary has challenged us to make a card with Butterflies, Birds, or Bees. My card is a Easel Card. I actually made it backwards but that's okay. The file is from My Scrap Chick Easel Card set.
I love this set because it comes with so many great easel cards.
The sentiments are from CardzTV Stamps Happy Days stamp set and CardzTV Stamps Easter Blessings stamp set.

I made this card for my mentor Gail. It has been one year since I started having a mentor to help me in my walk with the Lord. The best thing about my mentor is we meet weekly. She prays with me and helps me discern what God has for me. She also holds me accountable. I am so blessed to have her as she is a HUGE blessing to me and my family. 

The sentiments on this card read Wishing you all the Blessings of Easter - CardzTV Stamps Easter Blessings and then the inside says Happy Easter from CardzTV Stamps Happy Days. 

My mom and dad always used to buy Easter Lilies in honor of my grandma and my sister who died when she was born. I love these colors together. 

The lilies are from Spring Cottage cartridge. 

The flowers - Roses are from Floral Shoppe

CardzTV Card Designer Challenge #3 - Thank You

Welcome back for another Friday CardzTV Card Designer's Challenge!! This week Mary has challenged us to make a "Thank You" card. This was a fun thing to make as we have a lot to be grateful for in life.
I made my card for our wonderful caregiver and provider who helps me on a daily basis. I couldn't do all that I do without her.
For my card I used CardzTV Stamps "Thankful For You" stamp set and CardzTV Stamps "Count Your Blessings". I love both of these sets as they have such beautiful sentiments on them that are perfect for saying thank you.

Crazy For Christmas Card Number 4

Hi everyone. I cannot believe that Christmas is only 9 days away. I have several cards to make for family and friends so stay tuned as I will have a few posts for you before Christmas is here.

I used a square card base to make this card

The shape is from Elegant Edges. 

I added enamel dots to give the card some dimension.

Christmas Cow - Merry Christmas to Moo! CardzTV Stamps

The weekend went by so very fast yet again. In our house we spent the weekend cleaning house and getting ready for Christmas. Our tree is up and this year is one of the most beautiful that I have ever seen. I will post a photo once it is totally decorated. My children had fun pulling out the decorations and being reminded of past Christmas memories. 

Christmas memories along with being inspired by CardzTV Christmas Critter Captions is why I created this card. 

Growing up my Aunt collected cows. I spent a lot of time on her farm especially in the summers. She loved collecting cows and so this card is made in her honor. 

The sentiment reads Merry Christmas to Moo!!

Christmas Noel Window card

Hi everyone!! I cannot believe that Christmas is around the corner. I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving. It is my favorite holiday next to Christmas. I decided to get a jumpstart on my Christmas cards and created this window wreath card as I was sitting at my desk at night.

I was inspired by a die from Spellbinders that I have and have not figured out how to use. So I went through Cricut Design Space and found something similar. 

To make this card I used:

I Love How This Card Turned Out Which Started Off Simple And My Kids Said It Needed Berries.

My card today is a fun fall card that I used parts of the My Paper Pumpkin set from both September and October from Stampin Up. I also used my Cricut Explore Air to cut the leaf and CardzTV Stamps Thankful For You for the Sentiment. I love this stamp set. 

This was an easy card as I stamped the leaves from the September Paper Pumpkin set. Then I used the watercolor paper from the October set. I also cut a 5.5 strip of leaf paper that was 1.5 inches high. I love how it turned out as it is perfect for this season.

Count Your Blessings Card - #1 CardzTV Stamps

I cannot believe that fall is almost here. I love this time of year. Back home we went on hayrides, sat by the fire, watched the stars, and enjoyed the crisp, cool air.  However, here in the desert, we enjoy sunshine, sipping my pumpkin spice coffee, and remembering what the leaves changing looks like.
Every fall I get a little homesick for the East Coast.
I have a friend who is in need of some encouragement so what better what to encourage someone than to make them a card.

CardzTV Stamps Card Challenge #1 -Use Three Colors

Hello my Crafting Friends!!
Are you ready for another CardzTV Cardz Team Design Challenge? I am honored to be returning to Mary's team as a designer for another term. You will love her new stamp sets. They are so inspiring and will add so much to your projects!! I love her new faces set and borders. Both sets are a must have for any crafter!!

For this challenge, Mary challenged us to make a card with 3 colors - Black and White don't count. 

So I decided to make a cute spider card for our Behavior Coach to thank her for her hard work. 

The three colors that I chose are Purple, Yellow, and Silver

Butterfly Card

I love butterflies. This card was inspired by the embossing folder that I used to create the background.  I created this happy Butterfly card using a few fun supplies.

The White is embossed with a Butterfly folder from Sizzix. The Butterflies are from the Close to My Heart Art Philosophy cartridge. 

The sentiment Have a Happy You Day! is from CardzTV Stamps This 'n' That stamp set. You'll love this set. I find that I use it quite often.

Happy Fourth of July Statue of Liberty Card

Happy Sunday!! I hope you all had a blessed and wonderful Fourth of July with your family and friends. We celebrated with a wonderful meal and then headed to our favorite spot to watch fireworks. Fireworks bring back such wonderful memories for me.
As a child, I would head to my grandma's house and watch the fireworks from now Delgrosso's Park but back then it was called Bland's Park. We would listen to the music and enjoy the sites and sounds.

When I moved to New York, my favorite place to see fireworks was Niagara Falls. We would sit on the hill and watch the beautiful display of colors take launch in the night sky. Then when I had children, we would go to Riverside park and watch with our family and celebrate our great country.
Because of these memories and my love for the Fourth of July, I decided to make this card for my mom.

Tea Time - SVG Cuts and CardzTV Stamps

Hi everyone! Happy Monday!! Today I have for you a beautiful box Card. I purchased the Box card set from SVG Cuts. I have a dear friend who loves tea so I decided to make this card with her in mind.

For my sentiment I used CardzTV Stamps Brew HaHa stamp set

I accented the card with a white Gel pen and pearls. I love how it turned out and I hope she does, too.
