IKEA Dad Mug Cricut Explore

I love to work with vinyl!! If you haven't tried it, I definitely recommend it. It is so much fun and you will be amazed at what you can create. For this project, I created a glass mug for my dad. His birthday is in just a few weeks and I wanted something simple to say that I love him. 

IKEA has some great mugs for only $1.00. So I grabbed this one and decided what to do with it. 

After logging into the Cricut Design Space found a cute #1 Dad image on the Father's Day cartridge. 

I love how it turned out and it was so easy!! I hope to make many more vinyl projects again as I am glad to have a machine that makes it so easy.

 I had fun creating this card as I know how much Rachelle loves flowers and butterflies. I started with ladybugs but then settled on this beautiful butterfly. My card is a A2 size card which uses this beautiful roses and daisy paper. I love the colors in this paper. The Butterfly is from the Cricut Cartridge Kate's ABC's

Sunny Smiles Beach Card - Cricut Explore Air

Summer is here and many of my friends are heading to the beach. So today I found a cute beach bucket and pail on Simply Charmed Cricut Cartridge and made this cute Beach Card. The clouds are from the Cricut Design Studio - simply type in clouds.

Summer Fun - Beach Box Card

I love Summer!! At church this week, we started a new series called Hashtag. Our set looks like the front of this brochure. You can check out the message on #Freedom here. It's an excellent message from a wonderful pastor in Las Vegas at Verve Church. 

I came home and was in a beachy mood. So I decided to create this card. 

The Box Card is from SVG Cuts - It is the Summer Box Card series.

The Sun is from Simply Charmed Cartridge

The surfboard is from Summer Love

The bus or van is from Bits and Pieces
The Palm trees are from New Testament.

Happy Fourth of July Statue of Liberty Card

Happy Sunday!! I hope you all had a blessed and wonderful Fourth of July with your family and friends. We celebrated with a wonderful meal and then headed to our favorite spot to watch fireworks. Fireworks bring back such wonderful memories for me.
As a child, I would head to my grandma's house and watch the fireworks from now Delgrosso's Park but back then it was called Bland's Park. We would listen to the music and enjoy the sites and sounds.

When I moved to New York, my favorite place to see fireworks was Niagara Falls. We would sit on the hill and watch the beautiful display of colors take launch in the night sky. Then when I had children, we would go to Riverside park and watch with our family and celebrate our great country.
Because of these memories and my love for the Fourth of July, I decided to make this card for my mom.

Tea Time - SVG Cuts and CardzTV Stamps

Hi everyone! Happy Monday!! Today I have for you a beautiful box Card. I purchased the Box card set from SVG Cuts. I have a dear friend who loves tea so I decided to make this card with her in mind.

For my sentiment I used CardzTV Stamps Brew HaHa stamp set

I accented the card with a white Gel pen and pearls. I love how it turned out and I hope she does, too.

CardzTV Card Designers Challenge #1 Any Occasion

Welcome back everyone for our first CardzTV Card Designers Challenge of the New Year!!
I am so honored to be a part of this wonderful team of designers for another term!!
This week Mary has challenged us to make a card for any Occasion. January is a busy month in our house with birthdays.
So for today's card I chose to use my Cricut Explore and make a cute birthday card for my daughter Carleigh. She is 10 years old today!! It's so hard to believe.
I used Create a Critter 2 and Elegant Edges for the card. It was so much fun to create but a lot of work as the Explore has no way to size the mat. But after a while I figured it out.
