CardzTV Anything Goes Challenge #6 Reindeer Christmas

Hi everyone!! Welcome back for another CardzTV Designer Challenge. This week my design team sisters have created some wonderful projects for you to be inspired by. Head over to CardzTV and check them out. You won't be disappointed.
My project this week is a Reindeer Christmas card. This card was inspired by Sketch 10 from Mary's Sketch Card series.

The reindeer on this card is from Create a Critter 2 This is such a cute reindeer and so easy to cut.
My sentiment on the outside of the card is from CardzTV Stamps Very Merry Stamp set

The inside of the card is simple but gives the card a finished look. I cut a piece of paper from the front at 2 inches by 5 1/2 inches.
My sentiment is from CardzTV Stamps Naughty or Nice this includes the snowflakes and Merry Christmas

CardzTV Card Challenge #5 - Make a card with Butterflies, Birds, or Bees

Welcome back for another Friday CardzTV Card Designer's Challenge!! This week Mary has challenged us to make a card with Butterflies, Birds, or Bees. My card is a Easel Card. I actually made it backwards but that's okay. The file is from My Scrap Chick Easel Card set.
I love this set because it comes with so many great easel cards.
The sentiments are from CardzTV Stamps Happy Days stamp set and CardzTV Stamps Easter Blessings stamp set.

I made this card for my mentor Gail. It has been one year since I started having a mentor to help me in my walk with the Lord. The best thing about my mentor is we meet weekly. She prays with me and helps me discern what God has for me. She also holds me accountable. I am so blessed to have her as she is a HUGE blessing to me and my family. 

The sentiments on this card read Wishing you all the Blessings of Easter - CardzTV Stamps Easter Blessings and then the inside says Happy Easter from CardzTV Stamps Happy Days. 

My mom and dad always used to buy Easter Lilies in honor of my grandma and my sister who died when she was born. I love these colors together. 

The lilies are from Spring Cottage cartridge. 

The flowers - Roses are from Floral Shoppe

CardzTV Card Designer Challenge #3 - Thank You

Welcome back for another Friday CardzTV Card Designer's Challenge!! This week Mary has challenged us to make a "Thank You" card. This was a fun thing to make as we have a lot to be grateful for in life.
I made my card for our wonderful caregiver and provider who helps me on a daily basis. I couldn't do all that I do without her.
For my card I used CardzTV Stamps "Thankful For You" stamp set and CardzTV Stamps "Count Your Blessings". I love both of these sets as they have such beautiful sentiments on them that are perfect for saying thank you.

The watering can is from the "Bloom" Cricut Cartridge

The label is from Elegant Edges - Scallop Circle M45560

Flowers are from the Watering can (I cut a few extra)

CardzTV Design Team Challenge #3 - Fold Challenge

Hi everyone, 
Welcome back for another fun CardzTV Stamps Design Team Challenge. This week Mary challenged us to have fun and make a card with a unique fold. 
Unique fold cards are fun because it you can make a Tri-fold card, S Fold, Z Fold, Easel, Box or Step card. The possibilities are endless. 
Okay let's get to today's project. For my card I made a box card from SVG Cuts. The base is from their Autumn Cards line. I love their box cards but I only used the box on this design and not the pieces. For the pieces I went to the Cricut Design Studio and found a cute Turtle Witch, Fence, Haunted House (I love this one) and a Ghost. 
The Turtle Witch is from Create a Critter 2, the Ghost is from Creepy Critters, Halloween House is from Creepy Critters, and the scallop is just from Baby Steps. 
My sentiments are from CardzTV Stamps Trick or Treat stamp set which I used the Trick or Treat...Smell my feet! 

and then from CardzTV Stamps Let's Face It! Stamps set I used one of the adorable faces. 

 Here is my finished project......I love how it turned out.

CardzTV Stamps Card Challenge #1 -Use Three Colors

Hello my Crafting Friends!!
Are you ready for another CardzTV Cardz Team Design Challenge? I am honored to be returning to Mary's team as a designer for another term. You will love her new stamp sets. They are so inspiring and will add so much to your projects!! I love her new faces set and borders. Both sets are a must have for any crafter!!

For this challenge, Mary challenged us to make a card with 3 colors - Black and White don't count. 

So I decided to make a cute spider card for our Behavior Coach to thank her for her hard work.

CardzTV Design Team Challenge #1 Stripes and Polka Dots Frozen Card

Welcome to the first CardzTV Card Designers Challenge

For this challenge, Mary challenged us to use Stripes and Polka Dots. 

Stripes and Polka Dots are so much fun to use and my amazing Design Team Sisters have created some awesome projects to share with you all. 

Today's card is a special one as it is a card for my four year old son Brighton.

Many of you have followed Brighton's journey as it has been one full of ups and downs but we are so incredibly blessed by our amazing little man. 

His latest addition to his life are his Batman AFOs. He is doing great with them and we are so proud of him. In addition to his love of Batman, he loves anything Frozen. In particular an adorable snowman named Olaf. (That and listening to way too much Hillsong Young and Free the Alive track in particular)

My card for this challenge is simple and fun to make 

I used the Center Step Card from the Silhouette Cameo Store which is ID # 39779

Then I used the Frosty Tale Fairy Friends from Too Cute by Jessica.

My project today is a fun Easter Basket

I did a print and cut on this project as the Silhouette Store has such wonderful printable papers in it. 

The file is called the 3d easter treat box with Bunny and Eggs.

Instead of using the face for the bunny I used a Peachy Keen Stamp to make the cute bunny face.

Here's my "I'm So Thankful" project:
I am thankful for Fall - I love the leaves and cooler weather. 

For this project I used:

All Seasons 2 Paper Pack mat cut at 4 inches by 5 1/4
3 Birds on Parade from page 61 cut at 3 inches 
I embossed the Scarf and leafs with the swirls embossing folder
Close to My Heart Art Philosophy Shape 8 cut at 1.167 height
Cricut Lite Lacey Labels Celebrate cut at 3.25 width and again at 2.764 width
I cut that twice once in the mulberry paper with the black for the front of the card and again in the white and black on the side.

So excited to show you what I made for this challenge!

For Day 2 of our challenge and for World Card Making Day I made a Stair Step Card

I love making this kind of card. They look more intimidating than they actually are. 

For this card I used the following Cartridges 

Cricut Lite Trick or Treat  The Haunted House is cut at 2.5 inches and the Trick or Treaters are cut at 3 inches. 

I also cut the fence that is part of the Trick or Treat at 2.5 inches and then used 

the Bird call Embossing Folder to give it a wood texture and then used Tim Holtz Tea Dye Distress Ink to do the coloring

Finally from Cricut Lite Lacey Labels I used the Asian label and shrunk it to 0.972x2.5 inches.

Finally I stamped my sentiment which is perfect for this card. Halloween Greetings for Happy Trick or Treating from CardzTV Stamps Oct 31st stamp set.

The Inside is Square 3 - cut at 2.5 inches and stamped with 
CardzTV Stamps Happy Days - Happy Thanksgiving. 
My son Liam wanted to take this card to his teacher as he thought it was so cute. I laughed because I told him it's not Thanksgiving yet. I said at least you are ready when it is.

CardzTV Stamps "Say I DO" Challenge

Hi everyone, It's time for another fun CardzTV Challenge from Mary. She has challenged us to make a card, favor, or craft project for an engagement, wedding shower, or wedding. 

My card is for a wedding and I used the CardzTV Stamps set Happy Days.

This A2 size card was made with Close to My Heart Art Philosophy Cartridge using:

Cuttlebug Border Just My Type

Banner 1 is cut at 1 inches by 5.13 inches and you cut 4 of them

Circle 2 is cut at 1.75 inches in white and again at 2 inches in black

Flowers are Heart3 cut at 2 inches, 2.5 inches and the leaves are embossed as well.

My sentiment is stamped on the white circle2 and is in champagne ink and embossed. Then I added two pink jewels to accent it. This card was inspired from a card that I saw on Pinterest and wanted my own take on it. I love the embossing for this card.

CTV Challenge #8: April 20, 21, 22 - Day 2

CTV Challenge #8: April 20, 21, 22

"Color Me a Rainbow" Create a card or craft project for any ocassion using colors from the rainbow...pink, blue, green & yellow ONLY...you can also add small amounts of black & white.

For today's card I decided to make a Stair Step card. Now I have to say this is my favorite card that I have made this year. It was so easy and fun. I am making 6 more for a friend's benefit for church. I can't wait to finish them this weekend. 

Onto my card: 

You will need a piece of cardstock cut at 5 inches by 10 1/2 inches. Then you will score this piece of cardstock at 1.25, 2.5, 4.25, 6, 8.25

You will also need papers cut at 4.75 x1, 4.75 x 1/5 4.75x2.

To make this card I watched a great video from the Cricutologist on You Tube. The link to the video is http://youtu.be/tdo3yubm624

I used Cricut Craft Room to design these papers as it was very hard to use my paper trimmer to cut at 1 inch.

Now onto the cartridges I used:

For the background paper I used the 

Cricut Imagine Best Friends Cartridge and printed the beautiful floral paper. I LOVE this paper.

Then I used a few more cartridges.

Create a Critter - Tulips cut at 2.25 and Rainbow cut at 3 inches

Princess Party Event Cartridge - Frog cut at 3 inches

Close to My Heart Art Philosophy - Sentiment - cut at 1.39 in baby blue cardstock and again in light yellow at 1.25 inches

My sentiment is from CardzTV Stamps "Think Spring" stamp set and stamped in Tim Holtz Distress Ink Walnut Stain. I like this ink because it stamps clean and clear. I tried to use the chalk ink from VersaMagic but it smeared and I didn't like the look.

CardzTV Challenge #8 - Color Me a Rainbow

CTV Challenge #8: April 20, 21, 22

"Color Me a Rainbow" Create a card or craft project for any ocassion using colors from the rainbow...pink, blue, green & yellow ONLY...you can also add small amounts of black & white.

This was such a fun challenge. I really loved making my projects.

For my first card I made a A2 size card with a yellow card base and used the Gemstones Coordinations Cardstock. Then I used Cricut Art Philosophy to make the butterflies on my Imagine in soft Blue, Pink and Green. The Ribbon is from Studio G. My sentiment is from CardzTV Stamps "Think Spring" sentiment Celebrate Spring.
