Here's my "I'm Dreaming of a White Christmas" project:

My project is a simple project but so much fun. I love these circle Christmas trees. For my project I cut a circle in half, embossed it with my snowflake embossing folder and then folder it to make a beautiful Christmas tree. 
The Stamp set that I used is CardzTV Stamps Christmas Joy. 
I also used Lacey Labels for the middle label cut at 3.5 and 3.25 
Finally I used rhinestones and Beautiful baby blue Rhinestones from the Buckle Boutique.
The paper is from Studio G from the Craft Section in Walmart.
To accent my small punch circles I wrote Love and Joy and the accented them with more rhinestones. 
I gave this card to our wonderful provider Gail who is a Godsend to our family. She helps me with Brighton and Felicity. I am so thankful for her. 

This is an Twisted Easel Card and I love making them. I only have 70 more Christmas cards to make. I think I will be done by Valentines Day. Just kidding!

For today's project I made a Cupcake card from Artiste cut at 2 inches.
Then it has stickles, liquid pearls and sparkles just like Emily.
I am honored to have met her. She is extremely talented, caring, and very sweet. She is very gifted in her singing and has done a lot of theatre.

So excited to show you what I made for this challenge!

For Day 2 of our challenge and for World Card Making Day I made a Stair Step Card

I love making this kind of card. They look more intimidating than they actually are. 

For this card I used the following Cartridges 

Cricut Lite Trick or Treat  The Haunted House is cut at 2.5 inches and the Trick or Treaters are cut at 3 inches. 

I also cut the fence that is part of the Trick or Treat at 2.5 inches and then used 

the Bird call Embossing Folder to give it a wood texture and then used Tim Holtz Tea Dye Distress Ink to do the coloring

Finally from Cricut Lite Lacey Labels I used the Asian label and shrunk it to 0.972x2.5 inches.

Finally I stamped my sentiment which is perfect for this card. Halloween Greetings for Happy Trick or Treating from CardzTV Stamps Oct 31st stamp set.

I love making Easel cards as they give you twice as much room to say what you want.
I learned how to make them from Mary. If you haven't tried one do so as they are super easy and way too much fun!

Then again in the Embossed Lime Green at 4.042

Welcome to Loving Women Of  A Life Time Blog Hop!

Our hop today is celebrating Women who make an impact in our lives. Proverbs 31:25 reads "She is clothed with strength and dignity;

she can laugh at the days to come."

This verse describes my best friend Joce. Joce and I became friends during high school. One day she heard about how my mom was treating me and decided that I wasn't going to have to endure the abuse anymore. I went home with her that evening. I stayed there for a week until my mom calmed down and things were "safe" again. We lost touch after high school because I left home and never looked back. A few years ago, thanks to MySpace, we reconnected again. We haven't stopped talking since then. 


Last year when Brighton needed to go to Georgia for the medical appointment with Dr. Kendall, Joce and her family opened their home to let Brighton and I stay with her and her family.

Joce is a model of what a Proverbs 31 woman is like. 
She works tirelessly for her family of 5 soon to be 6. She is a mom of all boys. I admire her because she is constantly giving to them. 
In food prep, she is constantly researching health recipes to make sure they have the best food she can prepare. She researches activities for them to do. She also makes sure that their birthdays are memorable. I'll never forget the year she did the Candyland birthday party. 
Joce not only gives to her family, but she gives to those around her and is a friend to all. She is definitely more like the sister that I never had than a friend.
I know I can always count on her and she knows that she can always count on me. 
Joce, thank you for always being there for me. For welcoming my family into your family. And being an example of what a Proverbs 31 wife looks like.


For my project today I used Cricut Lite Lacey Labels for a simple card cut at 5 inches. The front says Friends are Flowers in the Garden of Life from CardzTV Stamps "Think Spring"
Then I used my Cuttlebug to emboss the mat and Close to My Heart Art Philosophy for the rose.

Thankful Thursday

Today is another Thankful Thursday. I am so thankful and have many people to say thank you to as I get back to blogging.
First to my guest designers - Rachelle and Beth & Daughter. Thank you for filling in for me when I took some time to get ready for the birth of our beautiful baby girl. I appreciate you both and you had amazing creations. If you haven't seen them please go back to the beginning of April and check them out. 

Secondly, Thank you to everyone who Surprised me with the wonderful Layout Shower for Felicity. The layouts are gorgeous and I can't wait to put them in an album and add pictures. You all made it so easy for me. I am honored that you wanted to share you time, talent, and creations with Felicity. They are truly beautiful and I feel so loved and blessed.
