CardzTV Card Designers Challenge #1 Any Occasion

Welcome back everyone for our first CardzTV Card Designers Challenge of the New Year!!
I am so honored to be a part of this wonderful team of designers for another term!!
This week Mary has challenged us to make a card for any Occasion. January is a busy month in our house with birthdays.
So for today's card I chose to use my Cricut Explore and make a cute birthday card for my daughter Carleigh. She is 10 years old today!! It's so hard to believe.
I used Create a Critter 2 and Elegant Edges for the card. It was so much fun to create but a lot of work as the Explore has no way to size the mat. But after a while I figured it out.

CardzTV Stamps Design Team Challenge #2 "Crafty Christmas"

Welcome everyone to another CardzTV Stamps Design Team Challenge. This week our challenge is to make a Christmas card, tags, mini album, home decor item, gift or candy container, or whatever you like, using CardzTV stamps. Mary will be giving away 2 sets of stamps to the winner..."Encouraging Thoughts" and "Make a Wish"

For my card today I used the Cricut Lite Cartridge released last year Jolly Holidays. I absolutely LOVE this cartridge. It has so many cute and fun images on it. I loved this little skater as it reminded me of my daughter. So I made her to look like my sweet Carleigh girl.
The background is a mat of white cardstock cut at 5 1/2 by 4 1/4 and then embossed with my Cuttlebug snowflakes folder. I LOVE the look of this with white cardstock. Then I used my Cricut Imagine to Cut the little girl at 4 inches. Then I took a strip of Peppermint cardstock from Recollections. Then I cut a tag from Jolly Holidays Winter Frolic at 1 inch and stamped Joy to the World in Walnut Stain. Then a cute green brad to attach the tag and beautiful Green ribbon as an accent. The stamped sentiment Joy to The World (LOVE THIS FONT) is from CardzTV Stamps Classic Christmas.
