Purplies Design Team Project LAST POST :(

Today is our last post for the Purplies Design Team. I am so honored that I was able to be on a team with such talented women. I wish them all the best!! My project for today is a simple card.

Today's recipe:

A2 size card pink cardstock

Floral Paper from Target

Close to My Heart Art Philosophy for roses, label and scallop cut at

2.5 inches, 2 inches, 1.75 inches, and scallop circle cut at 3 inches

Verve Stamps Jeremiah 29:11 for the Cross

CardzTV Stamps Easter Blessings - for sentiment.

Diamond Stickles to accent the Cross

Tim Holtz Distress Ink Walnut Stain

Despite all the challenges of this week, I was pleased to get this card done. I am so blessed to have such wonderful support. Thank you for your prayers for Brighton. Hopefully he will be home with us soon.

Purplies Design Team Project -

Kari gave us a challenge to create Something Green for St. Patty's Day. We had to think outside of the box. I have to admit thinking outside of the box is fun! 

For my wreath I used a wooden circle from Michaels 

A Child's Year Cricut Cartridge for the Hat 

Everyday Paper Doll Dress up for the shamrocks cut at 2.5 inches

Create a Critter for the Bear cut at 5 inches

It turned out very cute and I am hoping our therapists will like it better than my other sign which was Please remove your shoes or scrub the floor. I am hoping this will be welcoming to them and inviting.

DT PurpleFuntastick Creations - Sketch Challenge

Welcome Back for another fun Purplies Design Team Project.

For today Kari asked the Purplies Design team to take this sketch and make it our own~this beautiful sketch was created by Tina over at Crafty and Green.

This is our sketch and with this sketch I created this card. I changed my mind from beads in the middle of the flowers to rhinestones. I used Diamond Stickles on the middle of the flowers and added the rhinestones.

Recipe:

A2 size card

Garden party DCVW cut at 1 1/2 inches by 5 inches (I love this glittery paper)

DT PurpleFuntastick Creations - Altered Journal/Notebook

Today our project for Purplefuntastick Creations Design Team was to take our 3-D flowers that we made for last challenge and make an altered journal or notebook. I decided to use a discarded library book and make this beautiful journal. I have to say it is one of my favorite things that I have made this year.

I loved making this journal. The dimensions however will depend on your book side but I guarantee you will never look at books the same way again.  I will post the finished project when I am done. It is really turning out beautiful (the inside)
