12 Days of Christmas Blog Hop Day 10 - GUEST DESIGNER

Welcome to the 12 Days of Christmas Blog Hop Day 9. This hop will take place November 24th through December 5th and the new postings each day will be posted by 8 am eastern standard time. This hop will be full of wonderful ideas and inspiration to get you well on your way of creating all of those beautiful Christmas project. 

This is an awesome way to get a lot of your Christmas cards, and scrapbook layouts finished, home decorations completed and maybe even be inspired to create something using a new technique that you have never tried.  There will be a new project posted each and every day by all the wonderful amazing ladies in this hop. I am honored to be a guest designer for this hop because it is has always been one of my favorite blog hops to kick off the Christmas season.  To make this card I was inspired by a video from Mary @CardzTV Stamps. I used very similar cuts to her for this top fold card.  You can check out the video here .

Just My Style - CardzTV Design Team Challenge

Hi everyone! Welcome to the First ever CardzTV Design Team Challenge. I am so honored to be a member of Mary's team of wonderful designers. Please take time and visit each Design Team Member's blog and comment on their project. 
Our first challenge is entitled "Just My Style". Our challenge is to make a card using your favorite technique, card fold, colors, embellishments...whatever you consider YOUR style! It can be cute, vintage, shabby chic, etc, AND It can be for any occasion.

I love Christmas so for my card I used a standard A2 size card.  Then Have a Holly Jolly Christmas paper cut at 4 1/4 by 5 inches. The Green striped background is from a cute Christmas stack by Recollections. It is cut at 4 inches by 4 3/4. Then the White strip is cut at 1 1/2 by 4 3/4 and embossed with my Cuttlebug folder Snowflakes. The tree is from Winter Frolic on page 50. I cut it at 3.5 inches. Then added beautiful pearls from the Michaels dollar bin. Finally I stamped Merry Christmas from Mary's Classic Christmas line. You will love these stamps. The quality is amazing. Mary outdid herself with these. I just LOVE them. It is stamped in Tea Dye Tim Holtz Distress Ink. To finish it off, I put Diamond Stickles on the bow. (had to have a little bling) (My daughter who is 6 says so.)
