Wisdom from Proverbs 2:6

For the Lord grants wisdom from His mouth come knowledge and understanding.  Proverbs 2:6

O. The Lord grants wisdom to those who ask for it. The Bible says to seek wisdom. In Proverbs 4:6-7 it says "Do not forsake wisdom, and she will protect you;love her, and she will watch over you. Wisdom is supreme; therefore get wisdom. Though it cost you all you have, get understanding.
So you can see that wisdom and understanding go hand in hand. 

The Bible then points out in  James 1:5 If any of you lacks wisdon, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him.

A:It is important to use wisdom in all situations. If I am lacking wisdom in what to do whether it be to take a job, make a move, sign up for something, I need to ask the Lord to help me. He gives me the Holy Spirit to help me have wisdom. He also gives us mentors/friends who can speak into our lives for wisdom and point us in the right direction. He also gives us the Bible which is full of wisdom and advice that I can use throughout day to day living.

P: Father thank you for your gift of wisdom. Father thank you for the doors that you are opening and closing and how you constantly have our best interests at heart. Father help me to walk in your ways and seek your truth. Amen
