UP UP and AWAY!

My project starts with a story. In December 2013, my family got a email invitation that I was honored to receive. It was an invite to a honorary place "The Batcave". Yes a place really exits and is run by the Colten Cowell Foundation.

Our family was one of these families because I have three super heroes in my life. They are Jackson age 8, Brighton age 4, and Felicity age 3. Each one of them fights a rare metabolic disease and see more doctors than I'd like to in a lifetime.

We rode in Bruce Wayne's limo to the bat cave and then our adventure began. My daughter Felicity opened the Batcave with the help of Mr. Keller. Then my children got to slide down the poles of the Batcave to explore the cave. They loved all of Batman's gadgets that they had seen on the TV Show. Then lights camera action.

Upon our arrival to the Batcave, our kids got to experience this:

It was such a fun adventure!! The best part is the kids got a key to the bat mobile to drive it when they turn 16. They also got to give back to charities important to our hearts. We chose TGEN and Hopekids.
